This Privacy Policy describes the information practices of Zocvi (operated by Agilite Global Inc.) with respect to our Services and the zocvi.com website (the “Site”). It explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. By using our Services or the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Services Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

Medical Information.When healthcare seekers or healthcare providers supply medical data to Zocvi — including conditions, symptoms, vital signs, medications, referrals, or other clinical information — we receive and process that information to deliver the Services. Providers may also furnish clinical assessments, credentials, specialisations, and related content.

Registration Information. When you create a Zocvi account we may collect your name, date of birth, address, email, phone number, professional credentials (for doctors), and payment information where applicable.

Self-Reported Information.You may submit additional information through profile-building flows, surveys, or booking requests — for example, health history, appointment preferences, or family member details. If you submit information about another person, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

How We Use Information

We collect and process information to:

  • operate your account, enable bookings, process payments, and respond to your requests;
  • provide, analyse, and improve the Services;
  • support appointment management, clinical coordination, and billing;
  • communicate with you about the Services and respond to enquiries;
  • comply with applicable laws and regulations, including Indian data protection law.

How We Share Information

We may share your personal information with:

  • service providers that help us deliver, analyse, and improve the Services;
  • healthcare providers you engage with through the Services;
  • our affiliates, including Agilite Global Inc.;
  • successors in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets;
  • regulators, law-enforcement agencies, or courts where required by law or legal process;
  • other parties with your consent.

We may share de-identified and aggregated information without restriction.

Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw your consent to further processing by contacting our Privacy Administrator at privacy@zocvi.com. Withdrawal will take effect thirty (30) days after we close your account. We will not include your Medical Information or Self-Reported Information in new activities occurring after that period. Previous disclosures cannot be reversed.

Account Closure

To close your account, write to privacy@zocvi.comwith the subject line “Account Closure.” Medical Information will be removed within ninety (90) days. Backup copies may be retained as required by applicable law and our records-retention obligations.

2. Website Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

You may voluntarily provide your name, address, email, phone, organisation, and payment information when interacting with the Site. We also collect interaction data — IP address, device and browser information, language, referring pages, and time stamps — and we use cookies and similar technologies.

How We Use Information

  • respond to your enquiries and operate the Site;
  • support analytics, security, and fraud prevention;
  • personalise content and measure performance;
  • send you promotional communications where permitted;
  • comply with applicable law.

Cookies and Analytics

We use analytics providers (including Google Analytics) to understand how the Site is used. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Most browsers also allow you to manage cookies directly.

Advertising

We may partner with advertising providers that serve ads on our behalf on non-affiliated platforms. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to personalise ads.

Public Content

Certain provider profiles, reviews, posts, articles, and other content may be publicly visible through the Services and may appear in search-engine results, snippets, structured-data previews, maps, AI-assisted search experiences, and other discovery tools that link users back to Zocvi.

Public visibility does not constitute a licence, permission, or consent for any person to scrape, harvest, copy, republish, sell, license, train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems on, generate embeddings from, build datasets from, or use such content to develop, operate, or sustain any product, service, directory, marketplace, or database that competes with or substitutes for the Services. All use of public content is governed by Section 11A of our Terms of Service, including the restrictions on automated access, competitive and substitute uses, data extraction, and AI/ML training set out therein.

Your Choices

You may review and update your Registration Information at any time from your Account Settings. On request, we will provide information about personal data we hold or process about you.

Marketing Communications

By creating an account you agree that we may send you promotional communications about the Services. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting privacy@zocvi.com.

Linked Websites

The Site and Services may link to third-party websites or services. Zocvi does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy notices.

Children's Privacy

Zocvi and its Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

3. Your Rights under Indian Data Protection Law

We recognise the rights of data principals under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”), and will give effect to those rights on receipt of a verifiable request.

Right to Information

You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether Zocvi is processing your personal data, a summary of the personal data and the processing activities undertaken, and the identities of any data fiduciaries or data processors with whom the data has been shared.

Right to Correction and Erasure

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or misleading personal data, completion of incomplete data, updating of outdated data, and erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was processed, subject to retention requirements imposed by law or professional guidelines.

Right to Nominate

You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights under the DPDP Act in the event of your death or incapacity.

Right to Grievance Redressal

You have the right to a readily available means of grievance redressal in respect of any act or omission by Zocvi regarding your personal data. Complaints may be sent to the Grievance Officer identified below. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India constituted under the DPDP Act.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights above, write to privacy@zocvi.com with a description of the request and sufficient information for us to verify your identity. We will respond within the timelines prescribed by applicable law.

4. Security and Breach Notification

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including encryption of personal data in transit and, where appropriate, at rest. Access to personal data is limited to personnel who require it to operate the Services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a personal data breach, Zocvi will notify the Data Protection Board of India and the affected data principals in the manner and within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act and any other applicable law.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
