We were very fortunate to meet Dr.Ashwin when my father experienced the problem. Dr.Ashwin's prompt guidance helped us in quickly detecting the source of problem & plan a action without wasting time; early treatment is a blessing for cancer petients. Robotics radical cystectomy with illeal conduit was suggested to my father. The procedure was carried out in the month of November this year. Overall surgery & post operation care was well planned by Dr. Ashwin, so my father could recover fast from it. Its being a major surgery & old age, post operation care was well planned Dr.Ashwin. Dr. Ashwin is one of the best doctor we came across during my wife's Kidney surgery (Partial Nephrectomy). We are Indian origin resident in Singapore, during our regular health check-up some 4.5cm renal mass found in left kidney and Doctor here suggested to for CT scan to confirm the same. After CT scans, we consulted with doctors from Singapore, US and India and realised partial nephrectomy was only best solution. When we meet Dr. Ashwin everyone gave same suggestion but sharing the details about surgery and explaining the depth of this procedure (like how and why they are recommending Open partial nephrectomy) was unique. During our first consultation we were remote and reports were in digital CD, doctor did detail analysis and helped us to understand the details about surgery decisions and risks involved. We were looking for Robotic surgery but after thorough analysis Dr. Ashwin suggested to go for open surgery to save kidney and avoid any risks. From first consultation till today doctor is in constant touch and help to coordinate admission, surgery, follow ups and other tests like cardiologist, anaesthesia etc. Dr. Ashwin is very much reachable over phone and respond within his busy schedule. I would recommend Dr. Ashwin for any Urology and cancer related issues, he is best combinations with experience and attitude.
My Dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. All of us in the family were in a state of shock and stress as we didn't expect that a slight pain in his lower back would lead to this. We started taking opinions from various doctors in Navi Mumbai. We also went to Tata Memorial Hospital to seek opinion from leading oncologists.
