Our review process

How editorial articles are sourced, reviewed, and attributed.

1

Source vetting

Articles reference peer-reviewed publications (PubMed, NEJM, Lancet) and official health bodies (WHO, ICMR, CDC) where available, and are authored by verified medical practitioners on the Zocvi platform.

2

Editorial review before publication

Every editorial article passes through review by in-house editors and contracted editorial reviewers before publication — style, plain-language accessibility, and factual consistency with the cited sources. Formal peer review by named clinical reviewers is being built as editorial governance matures and will appear on the editorial-policy page as each standard operationalizes.

3

Traceable authorship

Every article is authored by a verified doctor on the platform and traceable back to that doctor’s profile. Doctor-authored posts attribute to the individual physician with full credentials. Editorial articles attribute to the Zocvi Editorial Team as an organization — no fabricated physician identity is ever shown.

4

Content refresh cadence

Older articles are re-evaluated against current guidance and either refreshed or marked as under review. Inline citations to primary sources are the target as our citation infrastructure matures; see the editorial-policy page for the current state.

Content sources

Editorial articles draw on these primary sources.

  • PubMed / NEJM / Lancet

    Peer-reviewed clinical literature.

  • WHO / ICMR / CDC

Official health body guidance and statistics.

  • Verified Zocvi physicians

    Specialist commentary attributed by name.

  • Editorial reviewers

Internal clinical reviewers named per article.
