About

A little about me.

Independent patient care coordinator based in Chennai. I help families navigate hospital admissions, specialist appointments, insurance paperwork, and post-discharge care planning — especially for elderly parents whose children live abroad. 6 years of coordination work across MIOT International and Apollo Chennai before going independent. Not a clinical role — I bridge the gap between the doctor's prescription and everything the family has to do to make treatment actually happen.

Testimonials

What people say.

Meera has been coordinating my father's care for 14 months. She is the reason we sleep at night. Weekly updates with photos, catches things doctors miss because she's the one who sees him every week. Worth every rupee.

Anand & Priya (based in Singapore)
Chennai (parents)

My mother had a stroke and I was overwhelmed. Meera came in on day 3 and took the entire coordination off my plate — appointments, meds, insurance, physio scheduling. She's calm in a way I couldn't be.

Ravi K.
Chennai

Booked her single-appointment escort service for my mother's cardiology visit. She sent me a full audio summary + written notes within 2 hours. Better than being there myself.

Deepa V. (based in Dubai)
Chennai (mother)

Handled my late father's end-of-life coordination with grace and clarity when the family couldn't. Included the funeral logistics and estate paperwork guidance. Still grateful two years later.

Vasu P.
Chennai

She sorted out an 8-month TPA rejection dispute in 3 weeks. Reimbursement of ₹1.4 lakh landed. Best money we spent on that whole hospitalisation.

Krishna J.
Chennai

The onboarding call was structured and reassuring. Every week I get a photo of my dad, a summary of the week, and any concerns raised early enough that we can act. Life-changing service for NRI families.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Are you a nurse or a doctor?
Neither. I am a Patient Care Coordinator — I handle non-clinical aspects of care: logistics, paperwork, family communication, appointment management. Clinical decisions stay with your doctors and nurses.
Do you work with all hospitals in Chennai?
Yes — I have working relationships across Apollo, MIOT, SIMS, Fortis Malar, and government hospitals. I don't "belong" to any one hospital.
How does the retainer work?
Monthly retainer covers up to 8 hours of hands-on time per week (visits, escorting, calls) + unlimited WhatsApp / email coordination. Extra hours billed at ₹500/hr.
Can you work with NRI families whose parents live in Chennai?
This is most of my work. I do WhatsApp video updates on the family's time zone and can attend appointments in your place.
What if there's an emergency?
For retainer clients I'm first on-call. Emergency response includes going to the hospital, briefing the family, and staying until things stabilise. Non-retainer clients — I refer to trusted colleagues if I can't reach you in time.
Can you handle medical tourism / international patients?
Yes — background in Apollo's international patient services. I coordinate visas, hospital-to-hotel logistics, cultural liaison, discharge, and follow-up.
